It’s ok

to not be ok.

I If you are still confused, angry, numb—or just don’t know what to feel—it’s okay. You’re not the only one, and your feelings are totally real.

Healing doesn’t happen all at once. Some days you might feel a little better. Other days, it might hit you all over again.

That’s why it helps to stick together. Being there for each other—as friends, neighbors, and people who care—can really make a difference.

This space offers “…a little help” in the form of well being tools and insights from awesome local groups in LA.

We’ve also gathered live in-person experiences into a calendar to help support Recovery.

We hope all of it will give you support in rebuilding your peace of mind.

ABOUT:

Team Palisades emerged organically in the wake of the January 2025 wildfires. Our foundation is grounded in  two essential forces:

Volunteer Residents and partners with deep expertise in infrastructure, law, environmental science, logistics, health, and policy

Empowered Block and neighborhood leaders with the trust, proximity, and coordination needed to move quickly and equitably

We are a civic recovery initiative built on a simple but powerful idea:

When citizens are properly informed, and organized, they can transform their communities—faster, smarter, and with greater transparency and fairness than any outside system alone.

We are scaling into a long-term recovery model and are creating a replicable, community-powered approach with relevance well beyond our neighborhood.
